The Road to Chiropractic...

Ellsworth Chiropractor

I discovered Chiropractic after injuring my shoulder playing college football. Not wanting to continue the path I was on of countless MRIs and invasive procedures I looked into alternative methods of healing. There I found Chiropractic. Not only did it solve my shoulder issues but as I continued with my chiropractic care I found that it was significantly helping my performance and I was becoming overall more healthy and functional. At that point I was hooked and needed to learn more about chiropractic and what it could do for my health.

Chiropractic Education

I received my Bachelors of Arts degree in Kinesiology and Applied Physiology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. While in Colorado I received a grant to perform research in the Biomechanics and Locomotion laboratory. Ellsworth Chiropractor
I studied how the human body responded to movements such as jumping, walking and running. My studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder helped fuel my decision to continue my education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida. Here I was immersed in all things Chiropractic and was inspired by the passion of the teachers and students. I found my niche at school with the Sacral Occipital Technic Club. I found a lot of value in the gentle and thorough philosophies of this technique.

Many people ask me how I ended up in Maine, as I grew up in Lake Tahoe, California. Well, I met my wife, who is from Maine, on a National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) semester long course in the Rockies. We then went to the University of Colorado at Boulder together. After getting married on Phillips Lake we left for Florida for Chiropractic School. We were called back to Maine for many reasons, being close to family, the beautiful landscape, and it being a great place to raise a family. Now I spend my time with my wife Holly, daughter’s Chloe and Piper, and our dog Boulder. We love Skiing, biking, hiking and enjoying the outdoors together.

Chiropractors Need Chiropractic Care!

Along with my own chiropractic care I try to incorporate other healthy habits into my life. There is no doubt that it can be a struggle to eat right, exercise, and keep a healthy mind. I try to do this by watching what I eat, and being mindful of what I put in my body. I try to eat foods that are unprocessed and free of chemicals. I incorporate the idea of eating what our distant ancestors ate, as they relied on food to keep their bodies at prime function. My love of the outdoors keeps me active throughout the seasons. Not to mention, my little girls who keep me running around, playing hard, and smiling big.

Enough about me! How can we help you with today’s safe and natural chiropractic care? Call Coastal Maine Chiropractic Center so we can help you take your first step towards better health.
